🚗 Join us in March and become a child passenger safety technician (CPST) to help support our mission of protecting children in and around vehicles! 🚦

🚨Why is this important? What’s the purpose?👇

🚑 An average of 3 children were killed and an estimated 429 children were injured every day in motor vehicle crashes in 2022. 🏥

👶 When car seats, booster seats, and seat belts are USED CORRECTLY, the risk of injury, hospitalization, and death for children is greatly reduced. CPSTs educate others and provide resources on the safe transportation of children in motor vehicles! 🫶🏻

❄️’Tis the season! 🤧

❄️Did you know — along with flu, RSV activity typically peaks in the winter months. ☃️

❄️RSV is the most common cause of hospitalization in infants in the US. To help prevent respiratory illness, an RSV antibody is recommended for infants entering their first RSV season and children under 24 months of age at risk for severe RSV disease. 👶

❄️Although they’re administered similarly to vaccines, infant RSV antibodies are not vaccines & they do not activate the immune system. Rather, the antibodies themselves protect against disease. 🦠

❄️We still have infant RSV antibodies available! Please call our office at 816-776-5413 with any questions. 📞
