TESTIMONIALS:

“From home to hospital Judith was there for me and my partner. We endured a long almost 3 days of labor at home and during this time Judith was attentive to me and as well included my partner in teaching him pain management techniques to help ease me. She offered her complete and total knowledge, she brought me raspberry leaf tea to help contractions and postpartum healing. She brought me oils to use in my diffuser to use for aroma therapy. She did these things graciously without me having to say a word or even say anything about my pain. Judith just knew what to do for me every step of the way. My contractions and labor was very inconsistent up and down on a contractions timer but every time i got to where i needed to be she drove a whole hour, day or night right away to us. She took a walk with us for a good hour kick-starting my contractions further. She gave me time to see if I'd
progress more at home until a couple hours later we called the shots and said no more. Judith made those difficult phone calls that a laboring mother doesn't need to make at last second. She called the hospital let them know we were on our way at almost 5 am on October 31st. We met her there and she wheeled me back while my partner took care of my information with somebody up front at maternity. My labor and birth was very dramatic. I had 3 failed epidurals and she witnessed it all even me crying out "Judith, i dont got this" she came to me in my writhing and assured me that I did. my birth experience pushing was more positive although i did tear. With my permission she had taken photos and got the best ones. Even ones i later found out she took at our house and yes, she did have permission. She had us speechless! She stayed with me the whole day until our daughters birth the coming
day November 1st at 12:02 am. Judith was very informative and i could depend on her knowledge about making an educated decision when it came to what shots and/or vaccines we did and did not want our daughter to have. Further, she came for a postpartum visit to see how we were doing and i assure you we have enjoyed how personable and attentive she was. Something we can describe as close knit. She just makes you feel like family. Does her job and genuinely cares to know you. Im very glad to have come to know Judith and I believe she will become even more prosperous in all she practices. Thank you Judith, we pray god brings you even more success! “

Gifts for a postpartum mother should be thoughtful and practical, aiming to provide support and comfort during a challenging and transformative time. Here are a few reasons why you might want to consider gifting a postpartum mother:

1. Support and Encouragement: The postpartum period can be physically and emotionally demanding. By giving a gift, you show your support and encouragement, letting the new mother know that you are there for her during this important time.

2. Self-Care: Many new mothers focus so much on caring for their newborn that they may neglect their own well-being. Gifts that promote self-care, such as bath products, comfortable clothing, or a spa voucher, can remind the mother to take time for herself.

3. Practical Assistance: Practical gifts that alleviate some of the new mother's responsibilities, such as meal delivery services, housecleaning, or babysitting, can provide much-needed relief during the early weeks and months of motherhood.

4. Comfort and Relaxation: The postpartum period can be physically uncomfortable due to recovery from childbirth. Gifts that provide comfort, such as cozy blankets, soothing teas, or massage treatments, can help the mother relax and recuperate.

5. Bonding with Baby: Gifts that facilitate bonding between the mother and her newborn, such as baby wraps, books, or keepsakes, can help create special moments and memories during this unique phase of life.

Ultimately, the best gifts for a postpartum mother are those that demonstrate care and consideration for her well-being and the new experience of motherhood. It's important to consider the individual preferences and needs of the new mother when selecting a gift.

Another roaring powerful mama gave birth December 23! The original plan was to homebirth but as we know birth is spontaneous and thrings happen, so the hospital was the location of birth. When i say it was so different though! The midwives prayed with her during labor , allowed mama to eat as she pleased and even allowed her to push in all positions she desired (on the back was not an option for mama she wanted natural birthing positions using gravity as a force) ! To top it all off Dad was suited up and ready to catch his own child , it was truly a hospital birth ive never experienced, much love to the Borah Family ♥️♥️ -JudithTheDoula
