When we see the Queen of Swords, she is the master of her suit, the sword, intellect. She is unapologetically quick, smart, and one step ahead of everyone else. Although she keeps most at an arm's length, she will offer help to others in need, but she will do so in moderation. The card suggests that if there is someone in your life that is similar to our dear queen, then there are valuable lessons we can learn from this person. This means there is the possibility this person will offer their assistance or guidance. If this happens, do not refuse their help. Humble yourself and accept as you will likely learn something truly invaluable.

Today’s card is the 6 of swords

Sometimes making a change is necessary to move you positively into the future and into the next phase or chapter of life. Sometimes these changes come of necessity. In the image, the boat is departing, allowing the viewer to only see the backs of the people in the vessel. Don’t turn to look back, leave the past where it belongs. It certainly didn’t serve the past and neither will it in the future. Although the departure might seem gloomy, the passengers are headed to better, brighter days.

Hold firm to your belief in the strength you have mentally and spiritually. There is a lot going on that might cause uncertainty but you know what’s right and what’s wrong, hold strong to your convictions. While sometimes easier said than done, it’s also important to choose the high road. Strive to choose love over hate, calm over conflict. It might just be solely up to you to defuse or bring peace to a situation. Possibly, walking away is needed in order to disengage from an escalating situation.

Now is the time to look around and concentrate on ways to relax. For better or worse, times of uncertainty have come to pass and we all need to come to terms with what currently is. Despite what you might be going through, we need to find a way to allow negative feelings to dissipate and pass through so that we may then reign in better and more positive feelings to reside.

this card, in the reversed position, reminds us to look to those in our lives that offer us comfort and help. Intense feelings can sometimes leave the impression that our experiences are singular, isolating, but this card is a friendly reminder they, in fact, not. Many People have the ability to empathize and talking to someone about hardships is always cathartic. Try to reach out and not alienate yourself.
