We are excited to announce that Tim Hanold is joining the Serenity First Hospice family! He will be coming on board as a strategic partner to Debbie and working closely with Wade and the leadership team.

Tim brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to compassionate healthcare leadership. He has guided organizations like Care Advantage, the Humana Wellness Division and SeniorBridge. He recently served as the Chairman of DMAS (Department of Medical Services - the Medicaid agency in Virginia), where he was appointed by Governor Youngkin. He is currently engaged as the Executive Chair of Beach House Center for Recovery, a Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder treatment center in East Florida and is a strategic advisor to multiple start-ups, including Al driven Alden Health. Tim's approach centers on working together as one cohesive work family to improve the lives of those we serve, believing that the best care happens when we build strong relationships and prioritize the wellbeing of our communities.

When not at the office, you will find Tim spending time with his family. He is married to Aiting, has a littie girl named Angelica who just turned 2 and a little boy (Aaron) is ready to make an appearance in early November. And can't forget Scarlet, the Golden Doodle! The family loves being outdoors, hiking, cheering on Penn State and spending time on the water.

As he joins our team, Tim looks forward to learning from each of you, sharing ideas, and continuing our mission to deliver excellent care!

Weekends often give us a moment to pause and reflect… to slow down, reconnect, and remember what really matters. At Serenity First Hospice, we are reminded daily that presence is one of the greatest gifts we can offer each other.

Let us walk alongside you... At Serenity First, we understand that grief and healing look different for everyone. That’s why we offer support groups designed to provide comfort, connection, and a safe space to share. 💙

We invite you to join us for any of our upcoming sessions, whether you’re navigating a recent loss or walking through a longer journey of healing, we’re here for you.

🗓️ Our updated schedule for the remainder of July, along with August and September sessions, is included in the photo below. Meetings will be held at Sunrise Villa Tuckahoe and Serenity First Hospice.
