About one year ago my friend, colleague and world class acupuncturist Alistair Jones opened a new clinic. Alistair is the best around. Acupuncture, herbs and a great big heart. I’m still practicing osteopathic manual medicine and getting better everyday. Christian and Kevin do massage and bodywork. Giselle our assistant is making everything work great. Drop by for a tour or just to say “hi”. Everyone is welcome at Apex.

With great joy, we want to announce that Jean-Pierre Barral joins us for a free webinar to share his biggest challenge over the past 20 years... The Brain.

Friday, May 8th or Saturday, May 9th, 2020 - From the Viscera to the Brain.

This is a rare glimpse into the mind and inner workings of Jean-Pierre Barral, DO, MRO(F), the developer of Visceral Manipulation. He will share the phases he went through, and continues with, to improve himself as a manual therapist always with the goal of being able to help more people. Barral will discuss the development of the Brain Treatment that he is newly teaching based on the Barral philosophy—why it took him so long to develop this course on the brain and what it means for manual therapists. Gail Wetzler and Nabil Lahlouh will be co-hosts of the event.

Presented in English with Spanish translation. Pre-req: IAHE alumni.

Due to high demand, we will be offering four times. Click to register for this exciting webinar with one of the great minds of our time. All days and times listed below are based on Florida time zone.

GOOD NEWS for our overall health!

Researchers have identified immune cells in the membranes around the brain that could be a "missing link" in the gut-brain connection, suggesting the cells may play a critical role in battling Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, meningitis and other neurological diseases, in addition to supporting our healthy mental functioning.
