Solomon C. Fuller (1872-1953)

This , Clearview Counseling Services, Inc. honors Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller, the first African American psychiatrist. In 1903, he was selected by Alois Alzheimer to conduct research in Munich, paving the way for future Black psychiatrists. His legacy lives on through the Solomon Carter Fuller Program and the mental health center named in his honor.
