We welcomed Makena Lei, one of our wonderful therapy dogs, back today, and it was truly a special visit. What makes it even more meaningful is that Makena’s grandma lived here in our building, and Makena every visit in her honor symbolizes the beautiful circle of care that connects us all. 🐶💖 Her gentle presence brings comfort, love, and joy—reminding us of the profound bond between pets and those they love and support.

Moments like these touch our hearts deeply, showing us how compassion and connection create a lifelong circle that strengthens us every day. Thank you, Makena Lei, for being a gentle reminder of the love that unites us.

A children’s choir from Seguin elementary school from Fort Bend ISD performed, but what made it unforgettable was the connection behind it. The director is the daughter of one of our residents in Connections, showing how music can unite us all.

Her mom, our guest of honor, was there to cheer her on and received flowers, and everyone watched in silent, happy tears. Just pure love and connection — no words needed.

Moments like these remind us how powerful love and music truly are.

🎉🐻 The Cubs cheer squad brought a “bear-y” wonderful burst of holiday cheer to our residents! Their lively spirit and bright smiles lit up the building, reminding us all of the joy and warmth of the season.

After spreading cheer with their cheers, they rolled up their sleeves for a craft session with residents — proving that the best kind of holiday magic happens when we come together with a little fun and a lot of heart.

🎄✨ Our Christmas party was a magical celebration filled with joy, laughter, and the true spirit of the season! Our residents and their loved ones, including special guests like a congressman, nurses, authors, business owners, and crafters, came together to share in the holiday cheer. The lively energy and warmth in the air made the day incredibly special for everyone involved.

Residents enjoyed a delicious dinner and surrounded themselves with festive fun, including a visit from the Grinch, his adorable reindeer Max, and a cheerful elf — all adding to the magic of the day. ✨🦌🎅

Seeing our residents so happy and engaged reminded us how meaningful this season truly is—when we come together to celebrate, the holiday spirit shines bright in every heart.

We were so delighted to have the Grace Notes come and sing for our residents! 🎶✨ Not only was it filled with holiday spirit, but you could see it shining through in every smile and gesture. From every position in the lobby, the warmth and joy of the season were truly on display — it’s wonderful to hear, feel, and witness the magic of the holidays come alive.

There’s nothing quite like the sound of holiday carols to bring us all together and fill the air with joy. It was a day to remember, and we’re already looking forward to more moments like this!

This morning we officially kicked off the Christmas season with our 2nd annual tree lighting ceremony thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. It was fabulous. Seeing the longest residing resident push the button that lit up every tree in the building and filling our space with sparkle and cheer.

After six weeks of hard work and a lot of patience, we finally bottled our beer project today! 🍺🎉 We can’t wait to serve it at our New Year’s Party.

Success never smelled like beer before, but today, it smells pretty amazing! Cheers to teamwork, dedication, and a little bit of brew-tiful fun.
