🖤🕷️ Friday the 13th? We chose chaos (the fun kind). 🕷️🖤
We decided if the cool kids were getting tattoos, then so were we 😎—temporary tattoos and all, and honestly… they were pretty awesome. (Did you see even Chipotle was doing a tattoo special? We were right on trend.)
Add in a DJ spinning the vibes, Bloody Marys stacked high 🍅🥚 (yes, with a boiled egg), and an afternoon that wrapped up with a cozy showing of Casper 👻, and you’ve got yourself a Friday the 13th done RIGHT.
Fun, a little crazy, and definitely a date to remember. 🖤

Is adult day care really the answer families are looking for, or just a pause button?

Many caregivers turn to daytime programs hoping for relief, structure, or support. Sometimes it works well. Other times, it quietly leaves bigger needs unaddressed.

Our latest blog breaks down what adult day care actually offers, where it helps, and when it may be time to consider other options. If you’re weighing next steps, this is worth the read.

We love seeing our amazing middle schoolers from the Kindness Acts Club come visit us! 💖🎉 They’ve been a part of our community for a couple of years now, and every time they play bingo with our residents, it’s pure joy—everyone has such a great time. It’s one of our favorite intergenerational activities, bringing smiles and making lasting memories. Hosting these moments with Mrs. Howard, whose dad actually lived at our building, makes it even more special—feels like a full circle moment! Plus, Mrs. Howard recently earned Teacher of the Year, adding to her incredible spirit and kindness. We’re so grateful for the continued love and energy these young friends bring to our home!

After a cold spell kept us from visiting the grocery store, the sunshine finally returned, and we’re so happy to be back! ☀️🛒 We were greeted with warm smiles from Sam, our friendly shopping cart attendant, and Cedric at the front of the store—who both remembered us and made us feel truly special. Several other Kroger staff also asked how we were doing and shared how much they missed seeing our residents’ joyful visits. It’s moments like these that remind us—you don’t realize how much of an impact you leave on people until it’s not there anymore. We’re grateful for the kindness and connection that make our community so meaningful. We’ll be back again soon, and we’re thankful for such caring friends at Kroger who brighten our days.

Our Mardi Gras float parade was absolutely amazing—full of fun, laughter, and incredible creativity! 🎉🎭 We had twice as many float entries this year, and watching everyone’s ideas come to life was truly inspiring. Everyone’s spirit and enthusiasm made the day so special. We’re already excited and busy planning for next year’s parade—can’t wait to do it all over again!
