CARES Clinic at VCU CARES Clinic at VCU is a pro-bono physical therapy clinic serving the Greater Richmond, Virginia area

The CARES Clinic is a student-run physical therapy clinic in the heart of Richmond. We serve the underinsured individuals of Richmond and surrounding communities, providing state of the art physical therapy. This free care is provided by VCU students under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The mission of the CARES Clinic at VCU is to serve individuals who would otherwise not receive physical therapy, use evidence based practice to optimize movement in our patients, and to foster a strong relationship between students and the Richmond community. Looking to give back to the community? Say less. Come join us for our CARES Clinic Spring 2025 5k event at Dorey Park on March 29th, 2025! The Community Accessible Rehabilitative Exercise Services (CARES) Clinic is a is a 501c3 non-profit pro bono physical therapy clinic serving the Richmond, Virginia area since 2016. Our clinic is run by student volunteers in Virginia Commonwealth Universityโ€™s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. We are hosting a 5k fun run fundraiser to raise support, awareness, and outreach of the services we provide to the local community..
Whether youโ€™re a seasoned runner, need a goal for a New Yearโ€™s Resolution, or just looking for a fun way to get active, this event is perfect for everyone. Our annual Pickleball Tournament is almost here! Swipe to see the following raffle prizes. To be entered into the raffle you can purchase raffle tickets in the โ€œticketsโ€ section of the eventbrite website in our bio at the rate of $20 for an arms length. They can also be purchased at the event with cash, Venmo, Zelle, or check! Cash is preferred but we will taken any form of payment.

Our clinic is run by student volunteers in Virginia Commonwealth Universityโ€™s doctor of physical therapy program. We are in our fourth year of operation.
