The Body’s Innate Wisdom Never Ceases to Amaze Me
A client who had been receiving annual mammograms since her early 20s shared that, in the last five years, she’d been getting them every 3–6 months due to ongoing areas of concern in her left breast. Her scans were often described as “problematic,” requiring additional ultrasounds — and she even had a metal marker placed in one breast for close monitoring.
She came to see me in the summer of 2024. During a two-week period, she received two Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) sessions. After her second session, she went in for her next mammogram — and the radiologist noted that those concerning areas were smaller.
Between December 2024 and May 2025, we continued with extensive CFT sessions in preparation for another upcoming surgery — focusing on releasing long-held fascial restrictions, improving lymphatic flow, and supporting her body’s natural balance before the procedure.
Fast forward to October 2025…
✨ The previously marked areas of concern are no longer present.
✨ She was told she could now have yearly mammograms for the first time in years.
✨ Her follow-up letter even stated that she no longer has dense breast tissue.
It’s my personal theory that what was once labeled “dense breast tissue” may have actually been fascial restrictions related to her past breast reduction surgery. Through CFT, her body had the opportunity to unwind, release, and restore natural movement, structure, and flow.
Our fascia tells the story of our life — surgeries, injuries, stress, and emotions — and when it’s gently supported, the body remembers how to heal itself. 💗
