Is the money in your FSA account expiring soon?!

If you have a Flex Spending Account as part of your benefits, the funds expire at the end of your plan year if you don’t use them.

Many plan years align with the calendar and end on Dec 31st!

What do you need to do?
1. Check when your FSA plan year ends.
2. Check if you have remaining funds $$, and how much.
3. Make a plan to use and spend your $$, because they do not roll over!

Sessions and services with Stubbs Mobile PT are an eligible expense, and help you feel & move better!

Part 3! Since y’all were interested in anatomy & why it hurts via the poll last week - I hope you love these slides and learn something new!

Per my experience with a disc type injury, and seeing a lot of patients with them, I thought I’d first share about intervertebral discs: what they are, what they do, and why they hurt

If you find these AT ALL helpful, informative, confidence boosting, please like, repost, and share them in your stories or with family/friends.

It is not easy or quick to distill information down into something bite sized enough for the internet! (Hah I probably still shared too much! But that’s who I am.)

Not every desk, fits every body the same. Do you see any differences in body position?

It’s important to know how to use your desk best for you and your anthropometrics, or body proportions.

Here, overall height and arm length & position are the most important factors.

But when we’re sitting, Torso length and leg length come into play every time we look at a desk set up. Along with forearm and upper arm length.

Example: If you have long femurs, a deep chair will fit you well; however if you have shorter femurs, deep chairs are going to be more of an issue, and you likely feel more comfortable with pillow(s) behind you.

To all the people not within the average height range, (hi, it’s me too 👋), our desk set ups take more awareness & modifications; especially if we’re going to be using it for more than an hour.
