With every pose we integrate, our bodies are not only gaining strength but also supporting the health of our internal organs. Each posture serves a unique purpose and this month, we’re focusing on Awkward Pose (Utkatasana).

🔆This powerful posture strengthens the legs, abdomen, feet, and arms simply through the way we hold ourselves.

🔆 It stimulates circulation in the lower body.

🔆 Helps relieve pain caused by rheumatism and arthritis in the legs.

🔆 Supports the realignment of slipped discs in the lower spine.

🔆 And it also enhances balance and concentration.

HYR is Richmond’s first and largest hot yoga community. Locally owned and operated since 2002, we specialize in the original hot yoga method - Bikram Yoga.
