UPDATE: Dr. Baldwin had an orthopedic appointment today at University of Kentucky. His collarbone is healing well. He was reminded by the doctor today that multiple broken ribs will take up to 6-12 weeks to heal. He will have a follow-up visit with the orthopedic trauma physician in four weeks. He will be out of the office until this reevaluation. Dr. Baldwin is in active recovery mode. He is walking daily and doing as many activities of daily living as possible. Considering the extent of his injuries, he is doing AMAZING but still has a way to go to get back to the office treating patients. Dr. Baldwin is grateful for the prayers, cards, well wishes, phone calls, gift cards, meals and the support from our office family. Please call the office if you have urgent chiropractic needs and we will continue to assist you in coordinating chiropractic care.

UPDATE: Dr. Baldwin was discharged from the University of Kentucky Hospital Friday and is recovering at home. He is trying to do as much as he can independently. He has minimal pain when sitting, standing, walking or relaxing in the recliner. Getting up, down, twisting or bending are a challenge right now. Dr. Baldwin is using this time to rest, heal and recover. We appreciate all the prayers and well wishes from our patients. Please call the office if you have urgent chiropractic needs and we will assist in coordinating chiropractic care.

Dr. Baldwin was involved in an automobile accident last week. He has broken his left collar bone as well as twelve left sided ribs. Because of the extent of his injuries, the office will be closed for approximately four to eight weeks to allow Dr. Baldwin to heal and recover. Our patients and their chiropractic care are a priority during this time. We will be contacting patients by phone regarding upcoming appointments and making arrangements for follow-up care if needed. If you have urgent chiropractic needs, please contact our office and we will assist in coordinating chiropractic care. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding and prayers during this time.
