Dear Patients,
We are pleased to announce that we have resumed in office visits at the Richmond Vein Center!
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we want to assure you that the health and safety of our patients and care team is our highest priority. As we continue to support the health and well-being of the Central Virginia community, the Richmond Vein Center has made temporary changes to our policies.
We are currently only seeing patients in the office for essential services such as therapeutic procedures, ultrasounds, consultations, and urgent wound care. Our office continues to offer Telehealth services for consultations and new patients.
Only patients with an existing appointment will be permitted to enter the office. We ask that you do not bring children or guests to your visits. If you need to pick up a prescription, compression stockings or drug samples, please contact the office to arrange a pick-up time.
In accordance with Governor Northam’s mandate, patients will be required to wear a face mask while in the office. Patients will also be required to fill out a COVID screening questionnaire upon entering and a staff member will perform a temperature check.
We continue to postpone all cosmetic procedures at this time in accordance with recommendations from the Medical Society of Virginia’s guidelines. Once it becomes appropriate to resume cosmetic treatments, we will begin to schedule our backlog of appointment requests in the order we received them.
Our Clinical Manager, Billing Specialist, Office Manager, Practice Administrator and Providers are all available to be reached durning normal business hours by phone. Our on-call provider remains available 24/7 for our existing patients who have urgent medical issues. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes to our policies feel free to call the office and use option 4 to speak with the Practice Administrator.
Please heed the warnings from public health officials, follow best practices such as social distancing and regular hand washing. If you think you have been infected with COVID-19, please contact your primary care physician by phone to seek further medical advice. We wish all of you good health and safety.
With hope and gratitude,
The Richmond Vein Center Care Team
