Grenova

Grenova Grenova is an innovative company that is revolutionizing lab consumables through high-quality waste reduction solutions.

Every year, over 4 million pounds of plastic pipette tips are disposed of in landfills globally after a single use. This drives significant environmental pollution and unnecessary costs. The typical laboratory consumes several thousand pipette tips every day for samples and assay procedures, due to the lack of options for safely cleaning plastic consumables. Such high consumption of plastic tips adds $25,000 to $1.5 million in annual operational costs for laboratories worldwide. At Grenova™, we know that high consumption of plastic tips is an excessive, avoidable operational cost for companies and a significant contributor to environmental pollution. This is why we decided to create devices that enable labs to recycle and wash pipette tips in large quantities. Grenova devices offer labs the option to reuse plastic tips several times, cutting associated costs by up to 90%. Grenova devices are safe both for the user and the environment, without producing hazardous waste or gases. Our experienced team at Grenova offers on-site consulting services to provide guidance for labs to reduce their consumable biohazard waste and move toward sustainability.

It’s not just fossils we’re preserving — it’s the planet too.

We’re proud to support the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History as they bring sustainability into focus behind the scenes. With the installation of our TipNovus, their team can now wash and reuse pipette tips — reducing plastic waste without compromising scientific integrity.

It’s a perfect pairing: a museum dedicated to understanding our planet’s history, and a technology designed to protect its future.

$1 for Every Badge in 2025

At Grenova, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. This year, we're making a shift in how we engage with our community at tradeshows. Instead of handing out traditional giveaways, which often result in waste and emissions, we’ve launched a new initiative: Scanning for Good.

In 2025, for every badge we scan at a tradeshow, we'll donate $1 to a charity making a positive impact. We have already attended two shows this year, totaling 208 scans.

This year, we’ve chosen to donate to The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit focused on removing plastic waste from oceans and rivers. Their mission aligns with our commitment to reducing plastic waste and promoting a cleaner, greener future. Track our progress as the year progresses!

This month’s Grenova employee spotlight is Victoria Bostler!

Victoria is our Territory Sales Manager for the US East Coast. Victoria focuses on customer satisfaction and market expansion for Grenova. She is a sustainability consultant that educates life science accounts on the positive impacts of tip washing and helps them adopt our solutions.

When Victoria is not working, you will find her running with her dog, checking out local breweries on the weekends with friends, and working on DIY projects around the house. A fun fact about Victoria is that she is working towards her yoga teaching certification.

We are grateful to have Victoria on our team!
