🍁 Thanksgiving with Purpose: A Checklist for Enjoying in Moderation 🍁
Remember: It's one day, not a week… and certainly not a month! You're still on your journey 💪
1️⃣ Start your day strong
☑️ Drink water as soon as you wake up
☑️ Don't skip breakfast—something light with protein or much better Herbalife shake with 24-gram of protein.
☑️ Get moving: 20-30 minute walk or stretches
☑️ Visualize how you want to end the day: satisfied, happy, and guilt-free
2️⃣ Prepare mentally and physically
☑️ Decide on portion sizes in advance
☑️ Eat something before dinner so you don't arrive ravenous
☑️ Bring your own healthy dish to have a safe option
☑️ Identify your "non-negotiables": (e.g., a small piece of pie)
3️⃣ At the family dinner
☑️ Fill your plate with salad and vegetables first
☑️ Include protein (turkey, chicken, lean ham)
☑️ Choose 2-3 side dishes you truly love
☑️ Small portions, big enjoyment 😋
☑️ Eat Slowly, savor every bite
☑️ Pause! If you're already satisfied, the food isn't going anywhere 😉
4️⃣ Enjoy what matters most
☑️ CONNECT: laugh, talk, give thanks, hug
☑️ Photos, games, memories > calories
☑️ Practice gratitude out loud 🙏
☑️ Zero guilt — you are in charge of your decisions.
5️⃣ Successfully end the day
☑️ Walk for about 15–20 minutes after eating
☑️ Water, tea… breathe
☑️ Give thanks for your discipline and your progress 🫶
☑️ Tomorrow you return to your routine without drama
