ABOUT OUR THERAPIST

Linda Jenkins Hoehn has always found a home in Richmond. She was born and raised in Roanoke Virginia, and enjoyed summer and holiday visits with her Richmond relatives. She treasures their stories of Richmond's history and her family's place in this beautiful city. She would have loved to have shared a cup of tea with her grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Jenkins, in the old Miller and Rhodes Tea Room or to have met her great-great-grandfather, D. Wiley Anderson, Architect, who designed many of Richmond's historic buildings on Monument Avenue and throughout the city. In 2001 Linda made Richmond home when she enrolled in the dance program at Virginia Commonwealth University, but soon realized she wanted to do more than teach children the fundamentals of dance. She wanted to help people of all ages and from all walks of life. Alternative medicine had always intrigued her, especially in preventative care and lifestyle. With her knowledge of human kinetics learned from dance and her great desire to help people holistically, Linda found her calling in massage therapy. After graduating from Fortis College in 2007 Linda worked for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa for six years before deciding to open her own business. Her education in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology shines through in every treatment she provides to her clients. She is grateful for her medical massage based education and her spa work experience all which enable her to deliver exceptional treatment to each individual. Whether it be stress management, pain management or preventative care, Linda's level of expertise offers clients ease of mind and body bar none. Linda holds a Virginia State license in Massage Therapy Practice and is certified with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and the American Massage Therapy Association. Appointments can be made by phone, text or email. Linda Jenkins Hoehn, CMT
