Return it to the place of purchase for a refund or replacement
Contact Alcon Laboratories at 1-800-241-5999 between 7:30am and 6:00pm (Central), Monday to Friday if they desire

WHAT SHOULD A PATIENT DO IF THEY SUSPECT SYMPTOMS FROM THIS EYE DROP
Patients should call our office if they suspect an issue and we should see them on the day they call
Red, pain, blur are among the symptoms
The material found in the single use vial was fungal in nature. That can cause an intense eye infection. Fungal infections are not typical and often a doctor might suspect bacterial infection and start antibiotics. But fungal needs a very specific eye drop that is not very commonly found in many pharmacies.
If a patient has this lot and ZERO symptoms, they do not have to be seen today
