Ashley McCay is the owner of McCay’s Total Care Pharmacy in Richmond, Kentucky.

Ashley graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy degree. Before that, he met his undergraduate requirements at Eastern Kentucky University and Northern Kentucky University. After moving back to central Kentucky, he worked in several positions for the Kroger company. His latest position was pharmacy manager at the Richmond Kroger Pharmacy from 2006 until April of 2016. Ashley has also served as a voluntary assistant professor for the University of Kentucky in the Pharmacy Practice department. Active in pharmacy practice since 1997, Ashley has a special interest in the areas of geriatrics, long-term care, and retail community practice. After 19 years in corporate retail pharmacy, Ashley decided it was time to follow his dream and open his own pharmacy. McCay’s Total Care Pharmacy opened May 3, 2016 and is an independent pharmacy that provides a patient focused visit. Ashley strives to incorporate the skills of traditional pharmacy with the changing demands of the current health care system. The staff is not only knowledgeable, but they love what they do and know their clientele by name. Each visit is a friendly personal experience.
