It seems unfair that trauma is NOT our fault, but healing IS 100% our responsibility.

I validate how unfair this can feel.

There are things that have happened in our lives, that were out of our control.

When we are children, it is not our responsibility to know how to set boundaries, how to use our voice, or how to disrupt unhealthy patterns and cycles.

But as adults, it becomes our responsibility to heal through it and lean into the work.

Unhealed issues don't disappear with time. They are pushed into our health, children, etc.

We MUST do the work!
