This , YETI wants to highlight how professional talks about disability can shape trust and connection. Person-first language puts the person before their disability. It emphasizes the individual rather than the condition.

Identity-first language places the disability before the person. This perspective is often preferred by some as it aligns with their identity and does not imply that the disability is something separate from who they are.
