This week we’re highlighting our Chief Safety Officer, Kattie Dibert 👏.

Kattie officially joined HandCraft in 2016 as a Production Supervisor, though her connection with the company began much earlier. As the daughter of HandCraft’s President, Keith Nichols, Kattie spent her summers working at the plant and various dry-cleaning locations.

After her time in production, Kattie moved into HR, where she developed a strong passion for workplace safety. She eventually stepped into a full-time role as the Safety Coordinator.

Today, she serves as HandCraft’s Chief Safety Officer, proudly contributing to the company’s ongoing growth and success.

We’re kicking off a new weekly series spotlighting members of our executive team, starting with our CEO, Curtis Nichols.

Curtis has been part of the HandCraft family for more than 15 years, beginning as a Linen Distribution Manager before moving into Service Management, Transportation, and Customer Relations. His career path took him through Business Development and Operations, where he served as General Manager of our two plants.

At the end of 2024, Curtis stepped into his current role as CEO, continuing to lead HandCraft through new opportunities and growth.

This past Friday, HandCraft came together for a night of baseball and fun at the Richmond Flying Squirrels game. Before first pitch, employees gathered under the pavilion to enjoy hot dogs, burgers, mac & cheese, pasta salad, and plenty of ice-cold drinks. The Squirrels may not have taken home the win, but it was definitely a victory for us with great food, great company, and a great time. ⚾️🐿

Last week, our Director of Acute Operations, Roger Givens III, and Plant Managers Rob White and Ryan Patrick attended TRSA’s 60th Annual EMI.

🎓 Roger graduated from TRSA EMI’s four-year program, calling it a confirmation of his leadership values and an incredible networking opportunity.
📈 Rob attended his first session with PMI (Production Management Institute).
✅ Ryan successfully completed the program.
