Thousands of children and youth with DD in Virginia are raised in foster, adoptive, or kinship homes. Learn about kinship care and resources that can help your family on Wednesday, March 26th when you join the Individual and Family Support Program Regional Councils and Virginia Dept. of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) staff for our first event of 2025! We'll start at 6 p.m. with a presentation from Stacia Stribling, Ph.D. and Kelly Henderson, Ph.D. at Formed Families Forward. Then stay for a panel with IFSP Councilmembers who will share resources and their own experiences navigating foster, adoptive, and kinship care!
