What do the young kids type these days? SMH? Am I using that word right?

Exciting announcement-- our April livestream guest! ( April 21)
Phyllis D. Light, a fourth generation herbalist and healer, has studied and worked with herbs, foods, and other healing techniques for over 30 years.

Phyllis’ studies continued as an apprentice with the late Tommie Bass, a nationally renowned folk herbalist from Sand Rock, Alabama, as well as other herbal elders throughout the Appalachians and the Deep South.

Phyllis has a master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Health Studies, education and promotion, nutrition and healthcare. Join the HERBALISM INTENSIVE A live in person event happening in January (the 10th and the 24th) at APOTHEC here in Richmond, VA.

With two stand-alone sessions, The Herbalism Intensive is a comprehensive starting point for being able to work with medicinal herbs with confidence.

The Herbalism Intensive:
A two-part small group series.
LB x Shop Apothec APOTHEC

Each session stands alone, but coming to both is highly recommended (you can always complete the program another time if you only do one part). The material is presented on a repeat basis, but it's a live experience, and that can't be repeated 🙂

This event is happening within the beautiful learning space within Apothec, so participants will be surrounded by tools, sensory details, herbs, and teas.

If herbalism is what you (or a loved one) is ready to learn, then this is the best opportunity, and you get two chances.

Session 1 (why herbs and how do they work? The herb garden master guide, the plan to make herbs part of your life, herbalism 101: comprehensive overview, the most popular herbs and why they work, herbal medicine making demonstration.) January 10th 11 am to 1 pm $277

Session 2 (the effective herbal workspace, professional herbal medicine making, foraging herbs 101, the foundations of proper herbal research, the body, and the herbs) : January 24th, 11 am to 1 pm $277

The total value of this program is $1700
The price is $277 a session.

Purchase your spot in person at Apothec (318 Libbie Avenue) or on the Shop Apothec website under their upcoming events.

I spend a lot of my time serving herbs and teas, I do herbalism at least 20 hours a week and am heavily accessible.

This event is a special experience that goes beyond everyday conversation---its a process made to fit you and a refined system that I have used for my own heath and the health of my clients since 2017. It is one of the deepest ways to work with me directly--- the deepest is my 1:1 work 🙏

Hope to see you soon ❤️
