We’ve got a great transformation to share with you here! This patient had dealt with difficulties chewing, tooth chipping, speech, and even smiling for decades. This was largely as a result of bite related issues- he had a maxillary (upper jaw) deficiency and had denied surgical treatment to correct this. In his later years, root decay and periodontal disease had become generalized and a decision was made to replace his teeth. Through careful planning, we were able to correct his bite into an ideal, class 1, through the use of implants and full arch hybrid dentures. Once complete, he remarked how much better he was able to eat, talk, and smile. His wife said that it was the first time since she knew him that she was able to see his top teeth. Everyone involved was thrilled with what we were able to achieve both functionally and aesthetically!
