Yesterday, we had some lovely music therapy. Our residents were reminded of wonderful times, and some were brought to tears while reminiscing and listening to beautiful, classic songs and artists. From the songs, some were able to recall particular stories attached to those memories.

“My name is Krista, and I have been married to my high school sweetheart Quenton for 24 wonderful years. Together, we have raised three amazing children- Ethan (23), Matthew (21), and Aurie (19). Being a wife and mother are among my greatest joys and most meaningful accomplishments.
With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, I’ve spent the last four years serving in a long-term care setting as a Business Office Director. During that time, I discovered what truly drives me—supporting, advocating for, and caring for the elderly. It’s a passion that has grown into a purpose.

Our Earth Day celebration was phenomenal! It was filled with creative movement, interesting Earthday facts, gentle reminders about all things Land, Earth, Space and Geography, quizzes, did-you-knows, painting, a few walks and tons of laughs! To say every day is a new day in the Cottage Community is an understatement. Ironically, it goes further than the residents.
