Welcome Back, Janine Lippert, Pediatric Nurse Practitoner.

Madison Family Clinic is happy to welcome back a very special part of our family.

After some time away recovering from an injury and surgery, Janine Lippert, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, will be returning to care for patients partime time in August, and will resume her full-time schedule starting September 2nd.

Janine has always gone above and beyond for her patients and their families — offering not only expert pediatric care but also genuine compassion, patience, and heart. Her love for the children in our community and her dedication to keeping them healthy have made a lasting impact.

We’ve missed her deeply at Madison Family Clinic, and we know so many of you have, too. We are thrilled to have her back and can’t wait for our families to reconnect with the care and kindness Janine brings to every visit.

With over 30 years of experience in family medicine, Winni brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to patient care. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with individuals and families and is committed to helping our community live healthier, fuller lives.

On June 30th, 2025, health officials announced that a measles outbreak that started in Woodford County has spread to Fayette County. A total of five measles cases have been reported in the Commonwealth in the past week. Three of the cases are in Woodford County and one is in Fayette County. One additional case, in Todd County, appears to be unrelated to the Woodford and Fayette County cases.

Measles is a highly contagious respiratory virus that can cause serious health complications, especially in young children. Vaccination is the best protection against measles. Immunization against measles comes through the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine. The total number of measles cases in the Commonwealth this year is now seven. These cases occur in the midst of global outbreaks of measles, including in Mexico and Canada, and the largest outbreak of measles in the United States since measles was declared eliminated in the U.S. in 2000.
