The River City Classic and Virginia Adaptive Sports Festival are returning in 2026 to Henrico Sports & Events Center, and you don't want to miss out!

JANUARY 31 + FEBRUARY 1: River City Classic is the premier wheelchair basketball tournament that will feature top adult and youth teams from across the East Coast.

JANUARY 31: The Virginia Adaptive Sports Festival is the East Coast's largest exposition of sports, recreational, and wellness opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Want to set a new PR or just have some fun?

Road Racing registration is open! All paces, ages, and abilities are welcome with wheelchair racing and guided run/jog/walk opportunities available. This season's training will prepare athletes for the Richmond Marathon in November!

WHEN: Saturdays, September 13-November 1, 2025, 8-11 am
WHERE: Hardywood West Creek - 820 Sanctuary Trail Drive, Richmond, VA 23238
WHO: Open to ALL Sportable members, 14 years and older. If you plan on participating in the Richmond Marathon you must meet with coaches to discuss the best course of action and best event through regular check-ins, training session attendance and program plans. You will be responsible for registration for the event.

Volunteers are critical to our Golf program. Are you able to help?

Date: Wednesdays, September 3-October 29, 2025
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 PM
Location: First Tee of Greater Richmond - 400 School Street, Richmond, VA 23222
Duties: Support athletes' participation as they learn golf basics and practice their swing, and provide assistance as needed. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.

Kick off the 2025-2026 NWBA Season with VIRGINIA VORTEX!

Join Sportable's Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team for a clinic focusing on individual skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Led by head coach, Jeremy Smith, and Director of Adaptive Programs, Tyler Rowe, the Virginia Vortex will be running through a practice with some scrimmaging to get ready for the upcoming season.

WHEN: Saturday August 23, 2:00-5:00 PM
WHERE: Montpelier Recreation Center - 15302 Clazemont Road, Montpelier, VA 23192
WHO: Open to girls, women, and non-binary athletes aged 16 and up with permanent lower limb impairments. Sportable membership NOT required. Participants do not have to use a wheelchair for everyday mobility.
