Did you know that Affirm is 100% supported through our LOCAL community? We do not receive any government funding or grants. In 2025, 20% of our gifts came through individuals and another 15% from our church partners. We rely on our three fundraisers for the remainder of our budget - Baby Bottle Blessings, Golf for Life, and Night for Life.

As a non-profit ministry, we rely fully on the generosity of our community. In fact, 100% of our donations come directly from people like you!

We kicked off our year-end giving campaign at our Night for Life on Nov. 13 and raised nearly $75,000. We've received another $15,000 in year-end gifts since then. Please help us finish the year strong. Here are our three primary initiatives for 2026 that we invite you to be part of:
1. Expanded medical services, including STD testing, advanced marketing, and nurse training (Good news: A new nurse has been hired for our Richmond location and will begin training soon!)
2. Growth of our THRIVE sexual risk avoidance program in local middle and high schools as well as a new outreach to college students
3. A billboard campaign to educate people about Safe Haven Baby Boxes - two visible from I-75, one in Jackson County, one in Rockcastle County, and one coming from Irvine to Richmond

In 2015, when we began the process of expanding to include medical services, we hired Brenda (Droege) Flannery as our nurse manager. Since then, she has served faithfully, performing hundreds of pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, allowing God to use her to minister to women in crisis, and helping some of those women to choose life for their babies. We thank Brenda for her decade of service and wish her well in retirement!
