We enrolled our first patient in the Cerevasc trial— a pilot study testing an innovative new endovascular shunt (eShunt) for Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH).

VCU Health is one of the first centers in the country to implant this device.

Here is a picture of part of the team, including Mally Jones and Amy Erikson, our two outstanding Clinical Research Coordinators, who are front and center, Sumangat Kalhon (flashing the peace sign), who is the Supervising Manager of the OR Neuro Nursing team, and surgeon Dr. John Reavey-Cantwell.
