On this national shutdown day, some small businesses, like us, are remaining open. And while it might be easy to have a knee-jerk reaction and say, "That business doesn't care about what's happening!" we hope you'll pause and do some research. There are businesses, like us, who show up not just on one day but all. the. time. because giving back is baked into our mission. For years, we've made monthly donations to food organizations that uplift the BIPOC community and in solidarity, we'll be directing that money to Minneapolis mutual aid organizations in the upcoming months. We understand there are many, many ways to show support and we won't let perfect be the enemy of good. So: businesses who are closed today, businesses who are donating some of your profits today, individuals who aren't going to work today, consumers who are not spending money today, and most of all, people of Minnesota and anywhere else besieged by ICE, we support you.

We have lots of news, folks, so listen up! First, check out this new recipe: Turkey & Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie! Made with Stonewood Farm ground turkey, mushrooms, edamame, & more topped with mashed Burnt Rock Farm sweet potatoes, this is a real flavor explosion we think you'll love. Second, the last delivery of 2025 is happening tomorrow so get your order in by midnight tonight.
