On Saturday, June 7th, emergency response personnel, government officials, and public safety members will gather at the Richmond International Raceway Complex to celebrate the courage and dedication of 12 honorees.

Here are 6 of the 12 honorees that we will be recognizing at this year's service. The rest of the honorees will be featured in a future post.

The Memorial Service is open to the public. Can't attend in person? The service will be live-streamed on our website and social media platforms.

No games this fall plan for 2025!

Message to all our Supporters: The return of the Richmond Games in 2023 was a great success, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Henrico County in the future. Due to scheduling challenges, as well as other shared learning from your feedback after our last event, we will not be hosting a 2024 event but will focus efforts on the event again for the Fall of 2025. Great time was had by all this weekend at the Richmond Highland Games 2023 the Old Dominion Firefighters Emerald Society was there special thanks to Heather Riddell and Angela Bramlet for helping keep the tent staffed while “someone was away BSing or getting a Guinness !
It was great to see everyone after a long 3 years break, Thanks Stokes McCune and Mac Adams for a great time, here’s to next year and St. Patrick’s Festival !

This week we received this letter from Chief Baynard at Henrico County Division of Fire for the service provided at the celebration of life for Firefighter Steve Whitson.

It was nice to receive this letter although we don’t do it for recognition received. We do it the fallen, the family, the friends and the firefighters.
