Our Story

We opened our doors in 2011 to offer our “hometown approach” to hospice care – to truly provide the highest level of care and comfort to individuals and their families. By being a nonprofit, Shirkey Hospice does whatever it takes to bring comfort to patients and their loved ones. Each life is unique; so is the care we deliver.

We help individuals with life-limiting illnesses to live life as fully as possible without pain. Our approach supports those in our care with a team of medical, emotional, social and spiritual professionals to relieve physical and emotional distress, as well as impart spiritual needs.

Since then, Shirkey Hospice has helped hundreds of individuals live as fully as possible, and supported loved ones through their course of grief and recovery.
