Our Inside Out pumpkins brought the emotions in full color — Anxiety, Disgust, and Sadness never looked so good! After some fierce competition (and a few nervous jitters from Anxiety), we’re proud to share that DPHS took home 3rd place in this year’s pumpkin decorating contest! 🥉🎃

August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD), the world’s largest campaign to end overdose.

“The overdose crisis doesn’t just shatter our families; it fractures our communities. The losses go deeper than one person, one family or one neighborhood. They ripple out into classrooms, workplaces and the spaces we all share. They cross borders between cities, states and nations.”

Today and tomorrow, DPHS staff members are tabling at our locations and in the community, educating people about harm reduction practices and dispensing Naloxone. Together we can save lives.

Happy back to school to all the local kiddos (and their caregivers!) but especially to the 238 children we have seen since June 1 for their well child visits!

Summer is a busy time for school physicals and immunizations and that continues through the end of September. If you or someone you know is still in need of an appointment, come see us!
