January 29, 2026 City Council meeting, Public Comment

I, Kimberly D**e-Harsley, made a request for the City of Lynchburg to uphold Charter mandates in relation to Lynchburg Union Cemetery. Chapter VI. Article 38, Seventeenth section.

My sincere gratitude is extended to Ted Delaney, Director of Museums, for introducing me to the knowledge of the existence of this Cemetery; Councilman Marty Misjuns for initiating a motion at the meeting to have a report presented in April 2026 and all Councilmembers for their unanimous vote in favor; Kai Thompson and Mand'ze D**e for your research and investment; Councilman Curt Diemer for responding to my email and following up with my request; and Jay White, Director of Old City Cemetery for responding to my request for information.
