Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is a full-service children's hospital and the first Level 1 pediatric trauma center in the Commonwealth. We provide pediatric inpatient and outpatient care that covers nearly all children's health-related needs - from primary care and emergency medicine to bone marrow transplants and heart surgery. As part of VCU Health, we are committed to ensuring access to care for all children, training future pediatric caregivers and making new discoveries that improve understanding and treatment of childhood diseases. Meet Dr. Megan Bouchard!
Dr. Bouchard practices pediatric general and thoracic surgery, with a particular emphasis on minimally invasive surgery. She treats newborns, infants and children with a wide range of conditions, including congenital and acquired diseases, and understands that "no surgery is a small one when it's your own child." In addition to her clinical work, she is committed to the advancement of access to high-quality, equitable surgical care.
