Hey yall, this is happening more and more frequently now, that I have to address it. For about a year I have been consistently getting calls and texts (about 2-3 a month) of people getting injections done elsewhere, and have ended up with (for lack of better words) unfavorable outcomes, and wanting me to fix it. What you have to understand about this is, although I would on a personal level love to assist you, on a professional level the legalities don’t work like that. I can guide you in the right direction on how to work with the initial injector to find a resolution, I can guide you through emergency services if it’s a dangerous adverse reaction and the initial injector is gaslighting you that this is normal, or ghosting your communications completely (unbelievably this is happening a lot), and as at least 14 people have found out this year, if it’s tox (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/etc) that’s unfortunately a 3 month droopy eye ride you just have to buckle in and wait out. Now with tox situations I can troubleshoot it with you, and I have tricks and tools on hand that can assist in shortening that 3 month period, but that’s it.
So, things to take away from this:
1: Know where you go. And if you don’t I will happily vet them for you. For me, I’ll never be upset you went somewhere else, I just always want you to be in a safe and educated environment. I know and have been injected by other skilled injectors in the area, and would happily refer you or co-sign their skills.
2: Most times if it seems too good to be true, it is. And with the rise of fraudulent/black market product on the scene, saving a couple of bucks up front can cost you THOUSANDS in the long run.
3: Yes you can ALWAYS reach out to me for guidance and advice, I just can’t always help you based on the circumstances, but can guide you on the correct steps to a safe resolution.
4: DO NOT let anyone strong arm or guilt you into anything. You have every right to say no thank you, or that you’d like to think it over first. Also, ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS, and if the injector seems annoyed by them, or their answers just don’t sit correctly with you, RUN. YOU are in control.
I know the openness of people getting injections these days (amplified by social media) makes it seem like these procedures are super simple and nothing to worry about, but remember these are prescription drugs, and injectables are an elective medical procedure, that comes with REAL risks that can be life altering in a detrimental way.
Your face and your health are worthy of more.
Stay safe ♥️
