September is Su***de Prevention Month!

Avoiding conversations around su***de won’t decrease the number of lives lost to it.

But talking about it could.

Contemplating su***de often results from someone thinking it’s the only option left to make the pain go away. Let’s remind people there are other options 💛

New years eve is a special time for reflection, and looking ahead to all the amazing things that are in store for in the next year…

It’s also technically just another 24-hour period like every one you’ve had before it 😯

January 1 is not a magical day where everything shifts and all your dreams miraculously kick into action. It is only a special day if YOU make it a special day. It only becomes transformative if YOU make it transformative. And, it only remains that way if you hold the same commitment and enthusiasm for those goals and dreams day after day…long after January has passed ⏳

This year, I encourage you to stop waiting and thinking about how 2019 is going to be “your year” and instead ACT to ensure it’s your year! This year will show up differently for you, if you show up differently for it!🙀

In 2018 I tip-toed into experimenting with showing up differently, and the Universe welcomed me with open arms and a big hug 🌟 It had ben waiting for me.

It wasn’t an easy year, and if I’m being honest, it wasn’t even a particularly fun year. But it was an essential year. It was a year where I began to willingly give up the anxious, broken, not good enough identity I had become so attached to. An identity that was never really mine to take on in the first place. 🙅

It has been difficult, emotional, confusing, scary, and AMAZINGLY FREEING AND GLORIOUS at the same time. And I want that for you too! The world is waiting for the day YOU choose to step into your true self, too! 🌎💞

Registration for “It’s Me or the Fear” opens TODAY. This is a 10-week group journey to experience freedom from fear, anxiety, pain and resentment so that YOU get to make the decisions in your life and relationships, rather than fear and anxiety calling the shots. Time to stop playing small and bring the life and relationships of your dreams to reality 🙌

Early bird pricing through 1/11, and the first 3 to sign up receive a FREE 90-minute homeopathic and botanical consultation with me to nourish your body through the healing process.

Make this your year!

Any newbie boundary setters out there!? 🙋🙋

This is a great time of year to check in with yourself on your boundaries and remember to hold them near and dear!

Here is your reminder that boundaries are healthy, important and necessary for you to show up as your best self! They also help achieve greater connection and respect by teaching others how we desire to be interacted with, and teaching ourselves that we are worth the level of respect we're asking for.

Boundaries are about respecting, protecting, and healing YOURSELF, they aren't about anyone else! If someone gets upset when you assert a boundary, their reaction is a reflection of THEIR STUFF, not yours (and chances are they were benefiting at your expense from lack of boundaries).

Also keep in mind that if you're new at holding boundaires, it can be exponentially harder to do so around family and/or long term friends. Old patterns and dynamics come flying out of the woodwork in these situations, so remember to be gentle with yourself. Just because you don't hit it out of the park every time doesn't mean you're not growing and changing. These things take practice to get comfortable with! Do the best you can and be compassionate toward yourself no matter the outcome ❤️

Stepping out of our comfort zone is where all the magic happens! Love these ideas Rockwood Natural Medicine Clinic shared to gently challenge yourself 💞🙌

You are stronger than you think and more capable than you may believe. Here are some ideas that may help you grow in confidence and tip toe out of your comfort zone:
*When you think you can't lift/do cardio any longer, do an additional 3 reps or extra 15 seconds and push yourself beyond your conceived limit.
*Do a cold rinse in the shower for 30 seconds.
*Skip something you think you 'need' such as coffee, wine, dessert, TV, etc.
*Shut down your phone or computer for an entire day, or even 1/2 day.
*Sit in a sauna for 15 minutes (stay hydrated).
*Go to a fitness class if you have never done one.
*Present or teach something you are passionate about to others.
*Drive without any distractions in complete silence (meaning without music or your phone, not kid noise for you parents:) .

Exercise is a great way to decrease stress and anxiety, but it can be tricky finding a healthy balance when recovering from an eating disorder.

A reminder that everyBODY deserves love, compassion, support, and to have their struggles taken seriously regardless of physical appearance or weight.

No one should be worried if they're "sick enough" to get help...if you feel you have an unhealthy relationship with food, around food, and/or your body:

YOU ARE WORTHY AND DESERVING OF HELP AND RECOVERY!

Eating disorders can have a way of making us believe we need to be a certain weight or engage in certain behaviors before we are sick enough for help. This is false! ANY body can be struggling, and EVERY body deserves and is capable of a peaceful, healthy life. Yes, that includes YOU👇😊💓
