Hands-on assists are part of how we teach, support, and refine your practice.

In our power classes, instructors may offer physical, consent-based adjustments to help guide alignment, support stability, and deepen your understanding of each posture. In a fast-paced environment, this kind of feedback can be the difference between guessing and truly feeling the work.

Why it matters:
• Refines alignment + helps prevent injury
• Builds deeper body awareness (you can feel what to engage)
• Supports a fuller, more stable expression of each pose
• Creates connection, trust, and support in the room

We know touch is personal which is why we use consent tokens.

You’ll have the option to opt in or out of hands-on assists. Your choice is always respected, no questions asked. This allows you to practice in a way that feels safe, supported, and aligned with your needs.

Our Circuit Bootcamp is a 45-minute, full-body workout designed to complement everything you do on the mat. Build strength, stability, and endurance through continuous, intentional movement so you move better, feel stronger, and show up more fully in your yoga practice.

This class focuses on bodyweight training with minimal weights and props to enhance results, not distract from them.

Set in our unheated room, it’s the perfect way to train through the summer while staying focused and energized.

Where The Wild Things Are; The mythology of the poses in our Power practice

This 4-week, immersive workshop explores the deeper meaning behind the shapes we create in the Journey Into Power sequence. We will begin by examining the mythology woven into the Warrior Series and beyond, uncovering the stories, symbolism, and archetypes that live within these postures.

The first hour is dedicated to guided discussion and learning, where we connect the mythology to the intention behind the practice. In the second hour, we will move through a thoughtfully structured sequence allowing the body to embody and integrate what has been explored. This workshop is designed for students who are interested in learning more than what is typically shared in a day-to-day class offering or anyone who is looking to deepen their practice and knowledge.

The only thing you need is a desire to know more. Students will, through the learning of mythology, be able to relate the stories to their own personal lives thereby enhancing their asana practice.

Join us on Sundays 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28 from 1:30-3:30 PM

Our 2026 Yoga Teacher Training is quickly approaching, so here’s your chance to get to know your training leads a little better…starting with 💫

Jennie Ray Hart | E-RYT 500, YACEP, Tier 2 750HR Certified Baptiste Yoga Educator Credential | (she/her)

Jennie Ray began her personal practice having suffered many injuries and more than a few non-elective surgeries. Her recovery was enhanced and knowledge of the true transformative power of yoga was instilled. She is one of three Tier Two 750 Hour Baptiste Certified Educators in Virginia. She has also received 200 hour Certifications from Studio Bamboo Institute of Yoga (Va. Beach, VA) and Humble Haven Yoga (Richmond, VA).

It is from this “place” that Jennie Ray teaches and guides her students. The spirit of her classes can be found in the physicality but also the “take it off the mat” challenges. You will meet your edge with safety and alignment in mind. You will also be transformed in mind and spirit whether taking a 60, 75 or 90 minute class!

Her life off of the mat includes a mini-Whoodle, Rayven, operating a 5-Star Airbnb, time spent exploring with her 92 year old Mom, and 8+ years of recovery from addiction. She takes life “One Day at a Time” and helps others to do the same.

You don’t have to teach yoga to take Teacher Training.

Most people assume it’s only for future instructors. It’s not. What you actually gain are skills you’ll use every day:

• How to regulate your nervous system under stress
• How to understand your body and adjust before pain or injury
• How to use your breath to shift your energy and focus
• How to communicate clearly and hold space for others
• How to build discipline and follow through

This is about learning how to show up with more awareness and intention. Teaching is optional, but the skills you learn are valuable for everyone.
