Have you ever considered becoming a birth worker?

Here is an opportunity to learn about the birth world hands on in a two day workshop. The Sprouting Families Doula and Midwife Assistant's class is a great introduction to the world of birth work. We explore topics such as the history of birth, different roles that birth workers play, pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum, and breastfeeding, and many more in between. People will walk away from this course ready to serve clients as a new doula.

The last month we have been enjoying hosting The Sprout About at Ives Park alongside the Potsdam Farmer's Market. Sharing about sun safety and giving away free samples at our table has been so much fun and perfect for all this wonderful hot weather we have had. Next month we will dive into insect bites: What's normal and what's not.
