Grrrrrrrrr. THIS little kitty cat is my inner carnivore. Shooting for a 90+ hour fast this week and then kickin off the weekend with a big, fat ribeye at 5:30pm Friday. 40 hours in now and counting. We have 31 fellow warriors joining in the extended fast this month. So awesome! I could never do it alone. I started this group last fall and have made so many awesome true carnivore friends from all over the world! They are AMAZING! We are all there for each other when times get tough. But MAN do I want to eat!!! LOL... but NO! Friday will be here soon enough. Hoping for a new 15 year low in the next few weeks. Come on now FDT! !!! Hope you like the new logo! :)

Been taking a break from posting for a while and spending more time with our group of carnivore warriors. But things are still going great! In the middle of a 72 hour fast right now!

BIG NEWS! I AM OFFICIALLY NO LONGER OBESE! I have hit a new 15 year low of 210 pounds and I am a full 90 POUNDS lighter than I was at my highest. According to the BMI scale I am now technically just "overweight". I'll take it! To think that I am only 10 pounds away from "Onederland" is somewhere I thought I might never be. It has been such a rollercoaster the past year but I owe so much of my success to community support groups for carnivore & fasting and also giving up alcohol... but also the willingness to be vulnerable enough to verbalize my struggles and also to admit my failures and put them in the rear view mirror. (Not that easy for me.)

Big change, while in isolation, is nearly impossible. If you struggle with anything...there is a tribe for you out there, somewhere... A group of people who lights you up and you will do the same for them. Seek it out and engage with all you are and change will inevitably come...although never in straight line. Don't we wish! Change can be messy.

***In honor of my achievement I have a bit of an ANNOUNCEMENT to make. It is time to adjust the name of this page. After losing so much weight and being alcohol free for more than 4 months you will see shortly the name will change to something along the lines of Fat, Drunk & Tucker NO MORE! - Carnivore Weight Loss. It is time.

Another awesome 72 hour fast completed! That makes one each month for the last three months. Trying something different with breaking my fast without a steak, so it’s bacon and eggs. I want to see if my body handles that a little little bit better. Going to weigh in tomorrow and I have a feeling I may be at a new 15 year low. Fingers crossed! Thank you to everyone who cheered me on!

Buuuuuuut No need to restrict on carnivore! No metabolic slowdown! It is the BEST WAY OF EATING EVER! Holy weight loss this week. Official weigh in tomorrow!

Good morning fellow Carnivore Warriors! I am 13 hours into my 72 hour fast and what a glorious morning to take a nice walk. Fasting truly is an elixir…but not only for the body… instead, for someone like me who has spent years mentally consumed by food, (oh the irony ) the brain too. It offers a true opportunity to reboot & reset. We all have an open road in front of us, a beautiful one like I am looking at now. No truer words have ever been spoken than “No matter how far the journey…it can only be taken one step at a time.” Have a wonderful day everyone.

It has taken me about a year to realize that strict carnivore is SO much easier than casual or "dirty" carnivore. Cravings just disappear. Carnivore Cruise Control in full effect! YEAH BABY! I have cut down on problematic spices like garlic, pepper and onion powder. The more I eat steak with just salt the better it tastes! I will have some spices but try to limit it to just once or twice a week max.

I reached a new all-time low today thanks to the Carnivore Diet & all the support I have received. Celebrating with a very nice “God Walk” this morning, a term that I learned from a new friend in one of our most recent Carnivore Warrior zoom “meat up” support groups sessions. Ditch the phone and enjoy the beautiful world around us and the beautiful world within us. Thank you all for all of your support. Excited for our 72 hour fast to start today! Let’s do this Warriors!!!
