Recent studies confirm there is a 42% lifetime risk of dementia in those over 55. Dementia is often isolating, not only for those living with memory loss but also for their loved ones. On Tuesday, December 2, RVNAhealth invites you to join this movement. Your gift this Giving Tuesday will support RVNAhealth’s Memory Café program, our welcoming monthly gatherings for individuals living with memory loss and their care partners.

Memory Cafés offer a safe, supportive, and enjoyable space for people with memory challenges and their care partners. Inspired by the original Alzheimer’s Café in Holland, these gatherings focus on people, not medical conditions. Participants decide how much they want to share, and no one is asked about a diagnosis.

At this time, RVNAhealth is partnering with the Wilton Library to offer the Wilton Library Memory Café, which launched in May 2025. As we continue to grow, we hope to bring Memory Cafés to additional communities.

RVNAhealth Dementia Specialist, Danielle Taibi, gently touches the hearts of dementia patients and their caregivers at the Memory Cafés by creating moments of connection, comfort, and dignity that make every visitor feel truly seen. We are deeply proud and grateful for the compassion and expertise she brings to our community.

After the rush of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday offers the opportunity to pause and reflect on what truly matters—coming together to care for one another. This global day of generosity celebrates kindness, community, and the power of giving.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at Cars & Coffee and made it such a memorable day! We really can’t do it without you – all the people who wake up early on a Sunday to make the drive and share their passion. We look forward to each event, and it’s gratifying to see all the enthusiasm from attendees. Watching the line of cars down Rt. 7 is a sight to see. The whole event is a labor of love, with many moving pieces behind the scenes – a team of drivers on Saturday to move all the cars off the lot (and another on Monday to bring them back!), a crew that comes in early on Sunday to set up tents, tables and banners, plus vendor coordination, marketing plans, and more.

Ridgefield Collection, our offsite collection of specialty vehicles (beyond BMWs) packed the showroom with unique vehicles, and our sister dealership, Genesis of Ridgefield, brought two vehicles, a GV80 and G90, both in the new limited Prestige Black trim.

This year’s turnout exceeded our expectations, and we estimate there were even more people than at our June event! Coffee and pastries from for 500 people didn’t even last until the end! (We’ll order more next time...) If only we could magically expand our parking lot to accommodate more participants.

Many thanks to AutoTechnic Racing, the racing team we sponsor, for bringing their full setup and four racecars! Their participation adds a unique layer to the day, and we appreciate their time.

This year we welcomed some of the local non-profits we are proud to support – hopefully you got a chance to visit their tables and hear more about their mission. In case you didn’t, please be sure to check them out: Regional Hospice, RVNAhealth, Daily Bread Food Pantry, and Make-A-Wish Connecticut

New this year, a visit from the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department, who handed out toy helmets to our youngest attendees. If you’re interested in joining their team, contact them via their page.

Also in attendance, CT Valley BMW CCA. If you’re interested in joining, there are many benefits (including discounts when you purchase your next BMW), which you can learn more about on their website.

Again, our sincere thanks to our wonderful community of enthusiasts! We hope to see you at the next one, Sunday, June 21, 2026.

P.S. If you’re interested in joining our team, Keeler Motor Car Company (our parent company) is hiring for all positions across multiple locations. Check out current openings here: https://www.keeler.com/careers.htm

If you’ve started thinking about Medicare, or you’ve been thinking about it for a while but still feel confused, you are not alone.

Every fall, millions of Americans try to make sense of Medicare enrollment: what it is, when to sign up, how to avoid penalties, and which path is best. And while the alphabet soup of Medicare — A, B, C, D — hasn’t changed much, the options can feel complicated.

That’s why RVNAhealth is once again hosting Medicare Explained: Understanding Your Options, a free, in-person presentation designed to bring clarity to a confusing system.

This Medicare Explained session will be led by Michael Bush, a trusted Medicare educator with decades of experience helping individuals and families make smart, confident choices.

Whether you’re turning 65, reviewing your current plan, or helping a parent or spouse, this Medicare information session is for you.

This past Saturday, the weather cooperated beautifully as more than 150 people came together for our 2nd Annual Walk BIG for Parkinson’s event. It was an inspiring morning filled with energy, community, and purpose, and we are thrilled to share that we raised over $13,000 to support our Parkinson’s Center and patients.

Our Parkinson’s Center team, Megan Laber, PTA, Parkinson’s Center Manager, and Andrea de Lange, PT, Parkinson’s Center Clinical Lead, did an outstanding job planning and leading this event, securing sponsors, and ensuring every detail reflected the heart of RVNAhealth.

To our amazing sponsors – Amneal Pharmaceuticals, AbbVie, Chipman Mazzucco Emerson LLC, Medtronic, Abbott, Stamford Health – thank you for joining us in supporting our mission to deliver unmatched, compassionate healthcare when and where it is needed. We hope to see you at our next Parkinson's Center event!

Shoutouts to Urban Poling. for donating several pairs of high-quality walking sticks, which we raffled off with great success, and to The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum for partnering with us, as our walkers enjoyed your sculpture garden.

If you are interested in learning more about our Parkinson's Center, head to: RVNAhealth.org/services-resource-centers/ -center

And to our lovely community and families – we couldn't have done this without you. Every step you took funds critical education, therapy, exercise, emotional support, and wellness programs for those impacted by Parkinson’s disease. YOU make a difference.

A note from Theresa Bartiromo Santoro, President & CEO of RVNAhealth, who attended the walk, "Our mission has always been about more than healthcare. It’s about people, about meeting individuals and families where they are, walking beside them through every stage of health and every chapter of life. Events like this one remind us what that really means and how strong we are when we come together as one RVNAhealth community."
