In today's healthcare system, time is a resource that new families rarely get enough of. ⏳ That's why I built my practice around a different model: 60- to 90-minute, unrushed appointments.

This isn't just a longer visit; it's a higher standard of care. This is physician-level care 🩺, and it allows for comprehensive medicine that addresses the root cause of your feeding challenges.

During our time together, we can:

βœ… Conduct a thorough medical evaluation of both you and your baby.
βœ… Diagnose underlying conditions that may be affecting feeding.
βœ… Create a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan.
βœ… Provide the emotional and mental health support you need during the postpartum period.
If you're tired of feeling rushed and unheard, I invite you to learn more about our approach. Your family deserves the time and expertise to thrive.

This World Breastfeeding Week, let's discuss one of the most significant facts in preventive medicine. 🩺

πŸ‘ΆDid you know that experts consider exclusively breastfeeding a child to be their first immunization?

πŸ›‘οΈ It has the single largest potential impact on child mortality of any preventive intervention, protecting against respiratory infections, diarrhoeal disease, and more. 😷

Globally, only 48% of infants receive exclusive breastfeeding during their first six months of life. 🌍

🍼 The global goal is to achieve a minimum of 50% by 2025. 🎯

Supporting one mother isn't just a kind gestureβ€”it's a vital part of global health. πŸ’ͺ Let's all be part of the village. 🏘️

Happy World Breastfeeding Week! 🀱 There is so much to celebrate this year. According to the World Health Organization, global exclusive breastfeeding rates have increased by 10% in the last decade! πŸ“ˆ

This progress is lifesaving, but our work isn't done. The WHO also estimates that when mothers get the support they need, they could save over 820,000 children's lives annually. This is why building your "village" is one of the most important things you can do on your postpartum journey. πŸ’–

In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, I've written a new blog post that breaks down the roles of your ideal support teamβ€”from your partner to your pediatrician, and explains my unique role as a lactation medicine physician. πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ
