November is a reminder that the year is almost over and the days force us to end things a bit early. Don’t let the early setting of the sun get you down . Instead use this as motivation to slow down and allow nature to guide and encourage you to do as it does. You got this ! Welcome change and take each day as it comes .

It’s NOVEMBER!!! Let’s get right to it! There are two more months in this year. Wow! Where did the time go. The end of the year can be challenging for many but specifically for college students . You don’t have to end the year/semester stressed. We offer specialized care and support for college students who are trying to navigate the challenges of college life and just the difficulties of the time period in general . Happy Friday!!!!! You made it through the work week! Congrats!!! As you ease into the weekend we hope you are prioritizing family time. We value the work we do with parents and families, therefore we would like to introduce you to one of our therapist that work with our families . If you have been looking for a family therapist, parenting support, or child therapist. We offer drama therapy and play therapy for our children and teen clients. We would love to be of support !!

Happy Wednesday!!! You have made half way through the work week!!!! We are excited to continue our week with reintroducing another one of our therapist. Meet Ms. Kim Dixon. She has been with Progressive Therapy since it was established in 2015. She is a gem and brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of s*x therapy!!

Progressive Therapy turned 7 this month!!! It has a been a joy and honor to support so many people and be in community with so many organizations. We look forward to continuing abs expanding our support. We will be sharing more post this week in celebration!!

Our hearts are heavy & go out to the Jackson, MS, Murray High School, Jackson Public a school community. To those are confused, hurt, angry, & sad. To those that may struggle with sharing their feelings with others and those that even fear having hard conversations about life challenges with love ones. We extend love and support to you! We encourage you to not be silent. Be ok with not always being ok. Find someone to extend love and support to today and the days to come. Seek support from friends, family, and a mental health professional.

Just a word of wisdom on this Wednesday. Many times people will try to make you feel responsible for their emotions. You are not responsible for managing someone else’s emotions. It is their responsibility to to take care of their triggers and things that may impact them. You can be of support but don’t feel pressure to roll your sleeves up and work for them. People pleasers tend to fall victim to this. Beware!
