Weโre thrilled to invite differently-abled kids and young adults (ages 3โ21) and their families to Pawsitive Connectionsโa joyful, inclusive, come-and-go event celebrating friendship, pets, and creativity!
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐๐ญ:
Doors open at 10:00 AM. Therapy dog teams from Visiting Pet Teams of South Mississippi will be set up for relaxed, drop-in meet-and-greetsโenjoy visiting with our furry friends at your own pace!
Throughout the event, participants can visit a variety of fun activity stations:
โข Select a stuffed cat or dog to โadoptโ (one per registered child or young adult ages 3โ21)
โข Give your new friend a checkup
โข Create a custom collar
โข Decorate a take-home โpet houseโ box
โข Receive an official adoption certificate
When you register, youโll be able to select your childโs stuffed animal to adopt. To make sure every participant gets their special friend, weโre only able to guarantee stuffed animals for families who pre-register. ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ญ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐โ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฅ.
