Huge congrats to these two! Kaiti and Reid just wrapped up the difficult process of becoming a licensed counselor. They’ll be working next to get on insurance panels, so keep an eye out for that.
As their supervisor, I (Branden) can unequivocally say that I have the deepest of trust and belief in these two as counselors. No doubt they’ll offer hope and healing to all who come through their doors.

We’ve got a few spots open for our counselors mountain retreat next month (Dec 5-7)

We will be staying in a nice air bnb, rock climbing or hiking, and digging into some of the common stuff we carry in the profession - all in the company of other therapists. Let me know if you have any questions. Last years retreat was my favorite thing we’ve ever hosted.

Today, three of our counselors attended Reformed Theological Seminary’s Conference on Christian Counseling. Our very own, Will McNeese, was a part of the Internal Family Systems panel and contributed his thoughts and opinions on IFS and the intersections of spirituality and Christ. Will is an IFS Level II certified therapist with many years of experience under his belt. Our P-LPCs, Kaiti Stewart and Reid Patterson, were happy to attend and learn from the panel on Internal Family Systems with an emphasis on the intersections of spirituality and Christ, Dr. Katie Majeste’s session on Trauma Informed Approaches to ADHD, and Dr. Mike Hillerman’s session on Empathetic Conjecture and Deepening Emotional Connection Through Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. Not every conflict means it’s time to walk away, but not every relationship can (or should) be saved either. In a culture that often encourages cutting people off at the first sign of trouble, it’s important to pause and ask: is this a challenge we can work through together, or a sign that the relationship can’t be repaired? Healthy relationships require effort from both people. When that effort is missing—or when trust, respect, and safety are consistently broken—it may be time to consider ending things with clarity rather than cutoff.
