We did this little thing at Ridgeland Place called Line Dancing. 💃 Mrs.Darlene and the Dixie Dancers 👯‍♂️ gave us some lessons on dancing. Some of the residents engaged in this activity. Line Dancing is a fun excercise for our residents. Thank you Mrs. Darlene and the Dixie Dancers 👯‍♂️ spending time with us and teaching us this dance.

Elvis was in the house last night and he was rocking rolling with our residents and family members. We went back to Sock Hop attire and delicious food in the Rocking 60’s. A shout out to our sweet Christ Covenant Seniors for serving food and engaging with our residents. We also had Coke floats and Root Beer Floats that were provided by Pax Hospice. Thank you Elvis for a great concert you are “A Big o Hunk of Love”!

🍂 Fall Creativity at Its Best! 🍂
Our residents embraced the beauty of autumn through art! With brushes in hand and colors of fall. We used yellow, green, tan, brown, and soft gold paint . we brought the vibrant hues of the season to life on waterpaint paper. 🌳🍁
From joyful splashes of color to intricate designs, every painting was a reflection of creativity and togetherness. It’s always inspiring to see the unique ways our residents express their artistic flair. 🎨
We’re so grateful for these moments of connection and creativity that fill our space with warmth and beauty.

Day-6 👨‍🌾 Farmers Market. The last day of Assisted Living we enjoyed home made jams,pear preserves,icecream and fresh fruit. 🍌🍎🥭🍊of all sorts. The residents enjoyed the experience of a Farmers Market. Some residents reminisced the days they use to make home made jams and icecream. We have made great memories this week of celebrating 🎉 our residents and our staff in a full week of fun activities at RidgelandAssistedLiving.

Day-5 Assisted Living Week. We are going to Hollywood.To start our trip off we made Hollywood Stars ⭐️ to put on the Walk of Fame. Our adventure took us back to some famous Hollywood Stars. We met Donna Summers, Tina Turner, James Brown and our very own Alana Turner which had her own security team Fox Therapy. Let’s not forget Ella Jane. The residents played trivia and one prizes.

More pictures of Day-5 memories. Mr. Holifield family was at the presentation and friends. Mrs.Shannon who represents Compasuss Hospice gifted all our vetersns with a beautiful American Flag 🇺🇸 cup and goodies. Mrs. Cheryl who is with Mississippi women of services also gifted Mr.Holifield a beautiful star blanket for his service in the military. The day ended up with cake and punch. All the residents joined in the song 🎶 God Bless America.

Day-5 A day of Remembrance of Service. We started the day off with the pledge of Allegiance and a time of silence in remembrance of 911 families who lost there love ones. We made new memories on this day by watching a brave soldier who was a World War 2 Veteran receive a high recognition from the government. General Jeffrey Bass from Meridian Ms rewarded Mr.JimmyWesley Holifield the flag flown over the Capitol of Washington State 80 years ago when Japan finally surrendered from the war. What a day to remember during Assistant Living Week.
