SMC is excited to announce Gwen Dew as a new psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner! Gwen will be providing services in our Bentonia clinic, telehealth across the state, and mobile care working with our home health partners.

Gwen Dew, PMHNP is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She worked with patients of all ages across the lifespan in a variety of settings for over 15 years before earning her MSN. Gwen has experience in private practice, working with school aged children and adolescents. She is the mother of three children, and her favorite pastime is cheering them on at their various sporting events and extracurricular activities. Gwen also enjoys being outdoors, jogging, music, and SEC football.
She believes in a holistic approach, using evidence based care in a safe and compassionate environment to help her clients achieve positive outcomes.

SMC is looking to hire a self-motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant! This position would function within our estalished assisted living facilities and as part of our in-home network.

Primary care experience preferred but not required. This full time position (with benefits) would be flexible and allow for a better work/life balance. There would also be expected travel within the Jackson metro area.
