NAMI Mississippi is seeking new program leaders who are interested in free training to facilitate NAMI signature programs in their community.

📅 January 24–25, 2026 | NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions.

📅 February 21, 2026 | NAMI In Our Own Voice presentations change attitudes, assumptions and ideas about people with mental health conditions.

📅 February 28, 2026 and March 1, 2026 | NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition.

Late yesterday, hundreds of congressionally-appropriated SAMHSA grants were abruptly terminated — putting critical mental health and substance use services at risk across the country.

These cuts threaten su***de prevention, overdose prevention, peer and family recovery support, and community-based mental health programs that millions of people rely on every day.

As NAMI CEO Daniel H. Gillison, Jr. shared, these decisions aren’t just numbers on paper — they have real and harmful consequences for people, families, and communities.
