Our Mom ended the fight of her silent storm yesterday, December 2.
My mother was the most selfless person I have ever met. Her love and support extended beyond what we could comprehend, reaching her family, friends, and clients. Even in her final days, she never gave up the fight for more time to love the world and those in it.
She lived life hard and to the fullest. She never missed a chance to take the trip, dance the dance, and take time to help someone else. To be loved by Mom was a gift in itself.
She gave us three girls a beautiful childhood, and there was not a single day that we doubted her love for us. She took every call, heard every complaint, and supported us through all of the journeys no matter where they took us.
She and Dad taught us what true love looked like and gave us hope that we would find true love in our own lives. Nothing brought her more joy than her grandbabies, and she never missed a chance to spend time with them or support them in any way possible. Family traditions and spending time together were extremely important, and even in her final days, she was able to be surrounded by us all.
Her time on this earth was shorter than we had hoped, but she was able to give us a lifetime of love and was able to teach us all how to live a little more humbly and keep faith in even the most difficult situations.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for theirs is the kingdom of God.
