Unfortunately less hiking than we both expected because of the snow, but such an amazing week regardless. The beautiful white overlay made the post snow storm views incredible and our shorter available hikes more challenging. Absolutely stunning park no matter what you are doing 🙈

Can’t believe Yosemite is just a drive away 😍 happy to be fully dry and back with doggies today tho 😉

I keep relearning the importance of sitting quietly. We have access to unprecedented stimuli at all times. Stillness is a state of being uninfluenced by the fluctuations of the mind. It’s where all the noise stills and the divine shines through.

Ive lost the practice of sitting regularly the last few months. It’s so easy to distract myself with my phone, people, television. But, once I start, I realize the richness of this moment is enough. I am able to truly open up to all aspects of my inner experience without the mind’s judgements. “Beyond polarities, I am”

Reflecting on the last year has me thinking a lot about impermanence

Mostly the importance of remaining open within your heart through the many seasons of this experience. For me, this is a big part of the spiritual journey. Finding some sense of softening, opening my heart and experiencing such a wide range of emotions simultaneously. Allowing for paradox. Diving full into feeling releases a lot of fear. Like your heart cracking open and accepting all that is allows for each emotion to really feel beautiful.
